"The company has just purchased $500,000 worth of new computer equipment to replace existing equipment.   These computers disappear before they are installed."

The change over is a slow process and the equipment is being stored in a locked office.  A number of key personnel have access to the room. The building has no CCTV installed, but does have a card key access system. I have also found evidence of the equipment leaving through the loading dock area.

I have decided to use 2 systems, one at the source, the other at the departure area to prove the equipment has permanently left the building.

SR-71VT ZOOM :

  • SR-71VT Wireless Event Recorder Case with Set up monitor
  • BZ-4/20 Zoom Pinhole Camera with ceiling mounting bracket
  • TR-240 2.4GHz Wireless Transmitter
  • TTX-Door  Wireless Door Trigger
  • RT-C Remote Trigger Control
  • B7 2 - 7 Amp/Hr Batteries

At 8.00 a.m. on Saturday after the cleaning crew have finished,  I put theSR-71VTin a locked closet 50 ft. from the area in question. I have cut a small hole in a spare section of ceiling tile, mounted the camera and tested it in my office. Inside the door to the office in question, I attach the TTX -DOOR Wireless Door Trigger. I replace a tile 8 ft. from the office I am monitoring and place the RT-C that I have set for a 10 minute recording, B-7 battery and the TR-240 Transmitter above the ceiling. I check the zoom on my BZ-4/20 camera with the M4 Set up monitor. I open the door to the office and go back to the  and plug in the power, and on the M3 screen is the area in question.

SR-71SP Case System 2:

  • SR-71 Event Recorder
  • OBS-1 Outdoor Bullet camera with standard lens
  • B7 2-7 Amp/Hr Batteries
  • 2 TTX-PIR 2- Wireless PIRs

"I decide to use my SR-71SP system down at the recycling and garbage loading dock area. There are some black plastic storage bins in the area in question.  I placed the SR-71SP in an empty bin, make a small hole in the side for the BS-1 outdoor bullet camera and attach a 7 amp/hr  battery.  Finally, I place a TTX-PIR wireless PIR inside each entranceway to the loading dock area.   I have set the SR-71R to record for  1 minute, as it will re-trigger if there is activity."

(Depending on the number of triggers the system could be left for up to 2 weeks before having to change the battery.)
