| Mounting
the Zoom Pinhole through |
The Zoom Pinhole lens is adjustable from
a 4mm to a 20mm focal length. This lets
you zoom in from ahigh ceiling area.
You may need to remove the support
rings if they are in the way. You can also remove the
cap when more light is needed.
Use the Forstner drill bit supplied in
the camera installation kit to drill out the ceiling tile
until it is wafer thin. |
Cut the area in front into smaller
squares approximately 1/2 to the same depth. |
| |
Once you have drilled the hole use some
thin adhesive to coat it. The coating will strengthen it and
will get rid of fibers. |
Without making a large hole you will
never get horizontal, but you can still attain a good angle
for cash registers and computer monitoring. |
The battery-powered setup monitor can be
removed from our systems and carried with you into the
ceiling area.
Use the set up monitor to confirm the
angle; zoom in or out as needed; make any small adjustments
- do this step when the tile is in place. |
There should be a SMALL hole in the tile.
Make sure the lens is centered to prevent picture distortion
from the tile. If the hole is too large, start
again, take your time and whittle the tile around the hole
so that the lens has very little to go through.
Use some white out to touch
up the hole.
