What Results to Expect
The Environmental
Protection Agency of the United States recommends using a water spray to
silence barking dogs. This technique is the most effective method
available today. If your WATERJET KENNEL SILENCER system is
installed correctly according to the instructions, and all of the kennels
are getting good water correction spray coverage, the only barking you
should hear should be the initial bark which will trigger the system.
Customer experiences over the past several years have indicated that most
dogs just stop barking entirely. And if the system is inactivated, within
a few weeks the dogs learn that they can bark without correction and start
up again. So don't turn the system off. It is possible that some dogs may
continue to bark if a trespasser is nearby (which is usually desirable),
but almost always from some point of safety such as inside their dog
houses. Most dogs never actually get wet. They hear the first bark and
reach the safety of their doghouses before the spray reaches them.
