Using the UKS System as a Barking Avoidance System If you have a remote training collar, you can use it in conjunction with the UKS System to develop a very powerful barking avoidance system. The tone generated by the UKS System really grabs the dog's attention. The dog automatically correlates anything that happens while he is paying attention to the tone, with the source of the tone. By applying a remote trainer correction when the dog barks and triggers the UKS System tone, the dog will think that the remote trainer correction came from the UKS System, not the collar. Thus, after a few remote trainer collar corrections following the UKS System tone, the barking dog thinks that the UKS System will correct him with the remote trainer correction if he continues to bark. The dog learns to avoid the more severe correction by stopping his barking in time.
