Step 4: Install the Control Unit.

The Control Unit contains the electronics which control the operation of the system. The Control Unit must be placed near to a normal 120 VAC outlet and protected from the weather. As with any electrical appliance which uses 120 VAC house current, the Control Unit must not be directly exposed to precipitation or sprayed or immersed in water. Exposure of the Control Unit to rain or any water spray can cause a serious electrical safety hazard and voids the guarantee and warranty. This location should be within 50 feet of the location of the Bark Pick-Up Unit and within 50 feet of the water supply. Do not plug the Control Unit in at this time. Do not at any time open the Control Unit. This may cause an electrical safety hazard and will void the guarantee and warranty.

Next - Step 5: Hook up the Electrical Water Valve and Impulse Sprinkler Head with the pipe and fittings to your water supply.
