PCI BUS Computer Systems

VME, ISA, EISA, PCI Bus design

A few of our Bus Computer Designs are shown online here. We have done literally hundreds of embedded designs.   Mitsi has designed a superfast 3D PCI graphics card and other peripherals for the Motorola, Pentium, MIPS, and DEC computers with the PCI, VME, ISA, EISA, STD, and other busses. Mitsi provides design services for PCI based computers and PCI-based cards.
Check out this screen grab from Dr. Don Woodward's  Brain and Spinal Cord Neuron analyzer.

This display of 13 living brain neurons was captured with a custom built 12.5 ns cycle time DSP processor with a 64 channels of high-speed differential A/D. It also has a whole bunch of stuff that only a department of Neuorophysiology and Neuropharmacology  understands.

The system amplifies the neuron signal from 0.0000003 Volts and captures it to disk after filtering and triggering on the signal of interest,

State-of-the-art recording system: captures multi-channel data sets from Awake, behaving or anesthetized rats, primates, or tissue culture plates.  Data is obtained from awake, behaving rats or primates, anesthetized rats or primates, or from human surgical subjects using multiple arrays of micro wires implanted in Cortex, Thalamus, Brain stem, Hypothalamus, Cerebellum, or other biologic signals.  Continuous voltage signals are scanned and filtered from neuron-recording microprobes.  Candidate spike waveforms are captured and transferred to the host computer for sorting and storage.  Real-time or off-line sorting results in datasets of accurate event times available for viewing from within the database or export to standard file formats.  Slow voltage signal sources are recorded continuously.
